Media Library list table: Rename 'Attached to' to 'Uploaded to'.

In 3.5, we have chosen to de-emphasize the "attaching" part of the
post-attachment relationship. Existing functionality remains the same,
but UI emphasis is now placed on "parent" being where the item was
originally uploaded.

Serve HiDPI graphics for printing, regardless of screen resolution.
Specify Opera's vendor-prefixed device pixel ratio property, for Opera desktop.
Specify a minimum Webkit device pixel ratio of 1.25 instead of 1.5, to serve
2x images to Android devices that are between 1 and 1.5x (like the Nexus 7).
Firefox and Opera will respond to 1.5x on these devices, but Chrome will not.
Specify min-resolution, which covers Firefox 19. Opera on Android also supports
min-resolution, but Opera Mini does not support dppx, so the dpi unit is used.

* Reactivates the `wpgallery` and `wpeditimage` TinyMCE plugins. Deactivates the `wpviews` TinyMCE plugin.
* Moves still-relevant logic from `mce-views.js` to `media-upload.js` and `shortcode.js`.
* No longer include `wp-includes/js/mce-views.js`. This code will not be used in 3.5, and should be considered unstable.
* Currently, this is the real 3.4 experience; as such, editing triggers the old modals. Changing this is the next major step.
When reassessing views, we should look over all of these tickets and anticipate these bugs accordingly.

`wp.media` now recognizes the `frame` attribute (currently a string; either'select' or 'post') and defaults to using a basic select frame. It also checks for the existence of classes in a safer fashion, as it does not assume the `MediaFrame` property exists.

Give media a heart transplant.

Revises the concept of the media controller and workspace views (i.e. two central points of control) to be more granular. The main media object is now the `Frame`, which is a hybrid view and state machine.
The state machine is a collection of states, which are just generic instances of `Backbone.Model`. This circumvents the problem of juggling global parameters when changing states. Each state contains its own event loop. All events are also forwarded to the frame itself (as is the case in all model/collection relationships).
The frame view contains several regions, each of which can be overridden without harming or re-rendering the other regions. These work well when used in conjunction with the state machine events.
This removes the upload sidebar (don't worry, visible upload UI will return). Drag and drop uploading still works. The ability to upload has been abstracted into its own view (instead of being attached to the central workspace view).
Editing galleries is temporarily broken — the gallery creation and editing experiences will be unified in a future patch.
Adds events to detect dragging changes in `wp.Uploader` and adds methods to detect and leverage browser support for CSS3 transitions.

In populate_network(), distinguish between upgrading from single to multisite and creating a new network in an existing multisite environment. When creating a new network steps related to setting up the main site must be skipped since the main site is created after populate_network() runs. Further, the global should not be modified since populating a new network does not involve switching to that network and making it current. fixes #22090

Adds `wp-includes/css/buttons.css` to consolidate buttons files and make them available in a modular fashion. Buttons are included automatically with the `colors` styles, and can be included independently by running:

Add a "Beta Media" button to the post editor. Currently, it is only capable of inserting images. Other attachment types and galleries need not apply... yet.
* Added `wp.media.string.image( attachment, props )` for generating an image as a string from an attachment and relevant attachment display properties.
* Properly localized the gallery workflow.
* Added `Workflow.update()`, which closes the modal, triggers an `update` event, and resets the selection.
* Added `wp.mce.media` to manage the various media workflows for editors.

Always attempt to embed URLs in content, removing the Auto-embeds (autoembed_urls) option.

Remove the UI for setting the default width and height for embeds. Width was confusing as it
was blank by default (inheriting the content width from the theme, or 500px). The height is
now calculated as 1.5x the content width, or 1000px, whichever is smaller.
The [embed] shortcode can still receive manual height and width attributes. This just removes
the global settings.

* Attachments now go through post.php, edit_post(), the like, and have show_ui set to true.
* Taxonomies attached to the media library now appear in the admin menu (if show_ui).
* Editing, cropping, uploading, etc. is still very rough, but mostly functional.
API-wise:
* New function: get_taxonomies_for_attachments(). Like get_taxonomies(), for taxonomies specifically registered against attachments.
* Brings taxonomy support from the posts list table to the media list table. Expect them to converge soon.
* wp_insert_attachment() now handles taxonomies like wp_insert_post(). Also expect them to converge soon.
* New edit_form_after_title hook.

Posting: Make it much harder to create posts with invalid dates by enforcing the post date tests in the UI and the backend code.

Previously you could quite easily send a new post into the back of beyond by specifying an invalid date like the 30th Feb and this was very confusing.
Sometimes it would seem to work and sometimes the post would end up very far in the past - depending on the mysql version and other factors.

Hide upload_path and upload_url_path from the Media Settings screen, assuming they are both set to their default values.

These can be set on options.php, or the UPLOADS constant or the filters in wp_upload_dir() should be used. WordPress should aim to avoid UI options that require filesystem changes as well, not to mention requiring the user to convert between paths and URLs.

If an option was not sent to options.php, pass null to update_option(), rather than trimming the null and converting it to an empty string. This provides better context for sanitize_option() while still storing what ends up being an empty string either way. see #16416 .

When blog_public only has two values (as judged by whether the blog_privacy_selector action is used), convert from radio buttons to a checkbox, and rename from 'Site Visibility' to a more specific 'Search Engine Visibility'.

Use JS Attachment models in wp.Uploader. fixes #21868 .

Moves the uploading Attachments queue from the media workspace view to the uploader itself. This ensures that all attachments are added to the central attachmnet store.
Updates wp.Uploader to pass Attachment models to callbacks instead of Plupload file objects. Attachments in the process of uploading have a reference to the file object (which can be fetched by calling `attachment.get('file');`).
Also updates the customizer to be compatible with the API changes.

Using the new buttons:
* Button classes are now stackable.
* All buttons should use a base class of "button".
* Buttons default to the gray style (formerly "button-secondary"). Buttons can add a style by adding additional classes. To make a primary button, add the "button-primary" class.
* Buttons can be rendered in various sizes. In addition to the default size, you can add "button-large", "button-small", or "button-tiny".
For backwards compatibility reasons, "button-primary" and "button-secondary" both work as standalone classes.
get_submit_button() has been adjusted to handle shorthand button classes (i.e. button classes can be passed without the "button-" prefix).

filter. Introduces show_admin_column => true for register_taxonomy(), which automatically
displays that column on all associated post types.

to avoid a parse error in a PHP4 environment (caused by use of
the clone keyword in option.php).
Manually include functions.php in the rare situations where it
is not already included by the time we need to load translations
early.
Remove the functions.php dependency by switching the wp_die() calls
to die(), in wp_check_php_mysql_versions().

Please note that this commit does not integrate media into the existing UI. If you would like to see the new UI, navigate to the post editor and run the following in your browser's Javascript console:
new wp.media.controller.Workflow().render().modal.open();
The Javascript is broken up into two files, with the slugs media-models and media-views.
* media-models: The models are UI agnostic, and can be used independent of the views. If you'd like to create custom UIs, this is the script for you.
* media-views: This is the Media Experience. The views (and controllers) depend on the models (which are listed as a dependency and will automatically be included thanks to wp_enqueue_script). The views also require the media templates, media-view styles, and the plupload bridge settings. Perhaps we should create a function to include the whole shebang, but in the meantime...
To include media-views in the admin, run the following PHP in or after 'admin_enqueue_scripts':

Switch to .min for compressed JS and CSS files.

* This moves our "development" versions from .dev.js to .js (same for css).
* The compressed version then moves from .js to .min.js (same for css).
By switching to the standard .min convention, it sets expectations for developers,
and works nicely with existing tools such as ack.

Hide the link manager from the UI on upgrade, if the site has no links. New DB option, link_manager_enabled.

Enforce this by denying the 'manage_links' capability, which hides the All Links, Add New Link, and Link Categories screens. Hide WP_Widget_Links and the UI for the default_link_category as well.
Convert all references to 'posts and links' when handling reassignment on user deletion to just 'posts'.

Remove nearly all tabindex attributes from the admin, leaving them only where absolutely necessary (for now that's only the toolbar).

Add tabindex="-1" for the menu images links to avoid double tab stops there when the menu is expanded.
Fix/add auto-focus on the first input fields on the Add/Edit Post, all taxonomy, all edit taxonomy, Log In and Edit Comment screens.

Make get_home_path() work in more cases by being case insensitive and sanitzing Windows paths. In some cases (such as differing case of hostnames or paths in the site/home options, or when SCRIPT_FILENAME contains forward slashes) the function was failing to return the correct path, and would instead return /. If a plugin triggers the WP_Scripts constructor prior to init, fire wp_default_scripts()

Only add our localized strings once we've fired init, in case we do have the situation
where we fire wp_default_scripts() twice.
Fixes issues where plugins or themes try to enqueue a default script handle prior to
init. Does not allow #19959 to regress.

Theme Customizer: Validate themes with more than just an existence check.

* The current theme goes through validate_current_theme().
* If doing a preview of a different theme, we check theme->errors().
Also:
* Don't attach previewing hooks when previewing the current theme.
Aside from being unnecessary, this prevents issues with a theme with
the error of theme_parent_invalid.
* Call send_origin_headers() earlier, to allow wp_die( '0' ) to properly
be returned in a domain mapping situation.
* Fix the 'Save & Activate' message on themes.php.

* Removes all instances of site-search, so away it goes. Sidesteps a number of bugs with site-search.
* Renames user-search to user-suggest, which means it better describes the current behavior (autocompletion) while allowing for future behavior (instant search).
* Ties user suggestions to a single .wp-suggest-user class.

* Causes the Manage Themes page to refresh if the customizer is closed after the active theme is switched.
* Changes the text of the 'Save and Activate' button once the theme has been activated.
* Improves the naming of the customize control settings.
* Add events to customize.Loader and make callbacks more flexible.
* Makes the customize-loader l10n compatible with non-admin settings.
* Adds WP_Customize->is_current_theme_active().
* Minor style corrections, including jQuery.attr/prop changes.
