John Cupitt e1baf66f19 "squash" to tiffsave now does lab as well 
The "squash" option to tiffsave now also squashes 32-bit 3-band float
CIELAB images down to 8 bits.

libvips test suite

This is in two parts: a few simple bash scripts in this directory are run on "make check", and a fancier Python test suite that's run by Travis on each commit.
