64-bit size_t/intptr_t/ptrdiff_t are long, not long long,
for macOS and Linux.
Note: we don't care CONFIG_SIM_M32 on macOS.

It seems that part of the patch
stm32l4: correct build of stm32l4_can.c to respect L4 variant
has been lost on its way to mainline.
