This change improves upon current support for pin interrupts. Before,
a pin interrupt was handled (with nrf52_gpiote_setevent) using one
of the eight available GPIOTE channels. Moreover, it didn't event let
the user specify which channel to use (simply tried to get a free one).
Also, it was buggy since it did not consider unsetting the callback.
Besides GPIOTE channels, there is another way to deal with pin interrupts.
The GPIO peripheral is capable of generating a PORT event
(for the whole GPIO port) depending on the pin SENSE configuration
(HIGH or LOW, or NONE) and GPIO DETECTMODE register
(latching or non-latching).
This change then renames nrf52_gpiote_setevent into nrf52_gpiote_set_ch_event,
maintaining functionality of original function, but now allows specifying
channel (and correctly handles unsetting the callback). Then, a
new nrf52_gpiote_set_pin_event is added, which allows to set a callback
for a given pin. During initialization, interrupt for the PORT event is
enabled and handled in such way that for each pin whose corresponding
bit in LATCH register (indicates the result of pin SENSEing) the
callback for this pin will be invoked. This mechanism means that
every pin can get an ISR. It also avoids using GPIOTE channels for this
purpose which carry higher current consumption.
This new per-pin callback mechanism has some added memory requirement
so it can be disabled and its default is dependant on DEFAULT_SMALL.
When disabled, a callback for the PORT event can be set directly
with nrf52_gpiote_set_port_event
There was only one use of nrf52_gpio_setevent() which was migrated
into nrf52_gpio_set_ch_event() passing channel zero.
In the current compilation environment, the recursive assignment(=) for compile
flags will be delayed until every file is actually need to be compile.

All compile flags to be reexecuted $(INCDIR) as long as one file needs to be compiled,
but in fact, the compilation options have not changed in the current directory.
So the we recommand to change the syntax of assignment

In this way, we can ensure that all compilation options are expanded only once and reducing repeated works.

This separation allows to interact with the watchdog from OS code,
for example initiating the watchdog very early on boot. Moreover,
these changes make the lower-half driver support an already running
watchdog, which may happen if there's a bootloader which already
started it.
Follow the POSIX description.
SIGTSTP should be sent when the Ctrl-Z characters is encountered, not SIGSTP.
Testing:
Built with hifive1-revb:nsh (CONFIG_SERIAL_TERMIOS=y, CONFIG_SIG_DEFAULT=y and CONFIG_TTY_SIGTSTP=y)
the mkspk tool will automaticaly be built if CONFIG_CXD56_BINARY
is set.

There is a good case on sim platform:
When we input some cmd and click enter key to start application in terminal,
this context will change to application from IDLE loop. Althrough entey key '\r'
has been received to recv buffer and complete post semaphore of reader, but
pollnotify may not be called because context change. So when application run
poll function, because no events happend and poll enter wait, context will
again change to IDLE loop, this pollnotify of IDLE loop will run to send poll
events, poll function of applicaton will wake up. It's wrong!

- However, up_cpu_pause() also sends IPI with critical section
- So the IRQ control must follow the same rule

malloc() and free() should never be used within the OS. This will work in the FLAT build because there is only a single heap, but will cause problems in PROTECTED and KERNEL build modes where there are separate heaps for user and kernel memory.
Typically kmm_malloc(), kmm_zalloc(), and kmm_free() should be called within the kernel in those build modes to use the kernel heap.
Memory is never free. Possible memory leak:

Provide functions which get and set the 3A (Auto white balance/Auto
exposure/Auto
focus) parameters.
These are achieved by the ioctl request codes VIDIOC_G_EXT_CTRLS and
VIDIOC_S_EXT_CTRLS which have the following settings:

- Auto exposure and auto white balance are locked if auto exposure lock is
requested.
Add imageproc_alpha_blend() to blend two images in a specified ratio.
The blended source image is selectable from the following two types:
- Single color image
- YUV422 image
The blend ratio is selectable from the following three types:
- Blend ratio with single value
- Blend ratio with 1bpp
- Blend ratio with 8bpp

The QuickFeather board added as an initial target.
These featrues are minimally implemented:
* Clock Configuration -- All clocking registers are defined and
configuration is used to setup the HSO, M4 Core, and M4 Perif
clocks. Additionally some clock debugging is stubbed for
bringing out clock paths to IO pins.
* UART -- The lowputc as well as the serial driver is implemnted
for the single UART device. Currently the configuration is
hard coded, but uses the proper interfaces to later fill in.
* SysTick -- The system tick timer is implemented and clocking
properly. Tickless mode is not yet implemented.
* Interrupts -- The interrupt system is implemented and verified
using the UART and SysTick systems.
* GPIO -- GPIO and IOMUX systems are defined and implemented.
This is verified using the UART as well as the Arch LED
system. The GPIO interupt system is stubbed out but not
implemented.
* Arch LEDS -- The blue LED as part of the RGB LED is configured
and attached to the Arch LED system. This indicates the device
coming online as well as when a hardfault is triggered.
Applications and Testing:
* There is a nsh configuration implemented that includes debug
features as well as the ostest, getprime, and mem test.
All of these have been run and verified.

stm32_i2sdev_initialize to stm32_i2sbus_initiliaze, to be consistent
with the way other buses are initialized.
The stm32_i2sdev_initiliaze (similar to stm32_spidev_initialize for
example) is a board specific function that does any necessary
initialization that's board depedent.

This is a change suggested by Xiao Xiang in an email thread. Some make variables with depend on forking and shell and running a script to get the value of the variable. Using := we can force the calculation to occur only once. This leads to a small but consistent improvement in build performance.
This change really applies to ALL Make.defs files but is applied only to one here so that it can be thoroughly verified and possbily leveraged to other Make.defs files in the future.

Buffers are allocated in the main ram, which is suitable for use with the
underlying STM32H7 SDMMC1 core in IDMA mode.
Files are copied from stm32f7/nucleo-144.
NOTE: lpwork's priority has been changed from 30 to 60 to avoid an
error when calling getsockname() just after connect() in ftpc.c

Remove support for the Codesourcery, Atollic, DevKitArm, Raisonance, and CodeRed toolchains. Not only are these tools old and no longer used but they are all equivalent to standard ARM EABI toolchains. Retaining specific support has no effect (they are still supported, but now just as generic EABI toolchains).

Add recording support to the Nuttx audio driver for Spresense.
- Supports 16 bit data with 48 kHz sample rate only for now.
- Supports 1 (dual mono) 2 or 4 channels.
- Only analog mics have been tested so digital is considered
unsupported.
The "info" structure was used non initialized and causing bad sounds at
boot. The start() function is anyway called later on when actually playing
sounds.
The are remaining nxstyle complaints due to the use of mixed case identifiers in arch/arm/src/lc823450/lc823450_irq.c This, cannot be easily fixed since it depends on register definitions in header files that have implications to section other lc823450 files.

This change to the files only modifies the name of called functions. nxstyle fixes were made for all core architecture files. However, there are well over 5000 additional complaints from MCU drivers and board logic that are unrelated to to this change but were affected by the name change. It is not humanly possible to fix all of these. I ask that this change be treated like other cosmetic changes that we have done which do not require full nxstyle compliance.

Also, change "/uImage" to just "uImage" in the top-level .gitignore file so that all occurences of uImage will be ignored, not just versions in the nuttx/ top-level directory.

Being a work in progress the driver has a number of limitations:

As pointed out by Şükrü Bahadır Arslan in PR765, function calls
inside DEBUGASSERT() will not be executed if DEBUGASSERT is
disabled. Following that PR, I searched for other instances of
similar errors and found four. As there are many thousands of
DEBUGASSERT in the code, this is *not* an exhaustive fix.
arch/arm/src/tms570/tms570_boot.c:
* In function arm_boot(), call tms570_memtest_complete()
outside of the DEBUGASSERT(). Otherwise, if DEBUGASSERT is
disabled, we will never rendezvous with completion of the
test. (Two instances of this fix.)
arch/arm/src/tms570/tms570_clockconfig.c:

tms570_efc_selftest_complete() outside of the DEBUGASSERT()
for the same reason as above.

Resolution of Issue 619 will require multiple steps, this part of the first step in that resolution: Every call to nxsem_wait_uninterruptible() must handle the return value from nxsem_wait_uninterruptible properly. This commit is only for those files under fs/driver, fs/aio, fs/nfs, crypto/, and boards/.
Please note: The modified file under fs/nfs generates several " Mixed case identifier found" errors. Please ignore these. These cannot be fixed without changes to numerous other files. They also follow a non-standard convention that is used many files: Using lower case structure names in custom SIZEOF_ definitions.

This change was added by PR 625 but has a serious logic flaw. It removes all occurrences of INCDIROPT and replaces it with a definition in tools/Config.mk:

These header changes introduce unacceptable errors:
1. The changes alter the width of the initial block comment. That will cause nxstyle failures on most of the files.
2. The third line of the header is an (optional) short description of content of the the file. This change erroneously removes that line.
Automated header file changes can screw up a lot of files, very quickly.

* tools/Makefile.unix/win - Replace CXD56xx specific logic with $(call POSTBUILD)

NOTE: There is a precedent for this approach. This is the way that other architecture-specific build options are implemented. See, for example, tools/zds/Config.mk
The SPECIFIC_DRIVERS configuration was removed from the drivers Kconfig and
the build will ignore the specific drivers.

Fix crashes on init task startup I observed on qemu-system-arm -M lm3s6965evb.
Because we can get the same function by CONSOLE_SYSLOG/syslog_console_init.
BTW, it isn't a good choice to use g_ramlogfops as /dev/console since nsh
will read back what it send out which will surprise most people.
This commit adds automounter and BOARDCTRL_RESET support for SAMV71 and verified on Atmel SAMV71-XULT. Also, some fixes of Kconfig and missing uerr/uinfo definition.
To ensure size_t same as toolchain definition in the first place and rename CXX_NEWLONG to ARCH_SIZET_LONG. The change also check whether __SIZE_TYPE__ exist before CONFIG_ARCH_SIZET_LONG so our definition can align with toolchain(gcc/clang) definition automatically.
Basically a copy-and-paste from spresense.
But I added -mlong-calls for ELF to avoid out of range relocations.
(Isn't it necessary for spresense?)
gnu-elf.ld is a copy from stm32f4discovery. I changed the license
of this file with a permisson of @patacongo.

Commit 2bc709d4b9 was intended to handle the case where up_timer_gettime may not start from zero case. However, this change has the side-effect of breaking every implementation of tickless mode: After this change the tickless timer structures are used before they are initialized in clock_inittime(). Initialization happens later when up_initialize is called() when arm_timer_initialize().
Since the tickless mode timer is very special, one solution might be to
1. Rename xxx_timer_initialize to up_timer_initialize
2 Move up_timer_initialize to include/nuttx/arch.h
3. Call it from clock subsystem instead up_initialize
Basically, this change make timer initialization almost same as rtc initialization(up_rtc_initialize).
For now, however, we just need to revert the change.

Add CONFIG_MMCSD_SDIO=y to configuration. This eliminates the following error found in build testing: lpc17_40_bringup.c: undefined reference to mmcsd_initialize
This change backs out a portion of ac4735cf58 and corrects the dependencies on CONFIG_NETUTILS_TELNETD. Without this change, the configuration will not build. It will fail with:

Kconfig: the CONFIG_WINDOWS_NATIVE options now depends on CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL. The Windows native build is complete and available, but not often used or verified. As a consequence, it cannot be assured to be fully functional at any given time. Hence, it is marked here as EXPERIMENTAL so that the end user will be aware of this state.
boards/arm/stm32/stm32f4discovery/configs/winbuild/defconfig: Add CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL to the windbuild configuration. It is now necessary for this configuratino to be a viable test configuration.

Add SPWM example to test STM32L4 PWM driver low level operations.
Fix BUGs.
1. No .c file should include a "Public Types" section. Only a header file can define a public type. A .c file can only define a private type. Several files contained private type definitions. The section that they were defined in, however, was incorrectly named "Public Types." Those were easilty changed to "Private Types" which is what they are.
2. No .c file should include a "Public Function Prototypes" section. All global function prototypes should be provided via a header file and never declared with a .c file.
For No. 2, I corrected as many cases as was reasonable for the time that I had available. But there are still a dozen or so .c files that declare "Public Function Prototypes" within a .c file. This is bad programming style. These declarations should all be moved to the proper header files.

Summary
Adds CDC ECM Ethernet over USB High Speed for SAMA5D36-Xplained
(and maybe other boards) (most of the code was there already,
but didn't work out of the box for the SAMA5D36-Xplained)
Only SAMA5D36-Xplained has been tested so far
Impact
None if you don't use the CDC ECM Ethernet driver
On SAMA5D36-Xplained, this adds high-speed Internet connectivity
over USB 2.0 High Speed. via the USB CDC ECM Gadget driver.
It may work on other boards too.
This also fixed full-speed (low-speed) mode for the board too.
Limitations
Hasn't been tested on anything other than SAMA5D36-Xplained board.
TODO
Ideally this would include a composite RNDIS device so it would
also work seamlessly on Windows. That is for a future PR
Ideally this would include software to help configuration via
mDNS/DNS-SD for plug and play compatibility with Linux and macOS.
That is for a future PR.
Detail
Only a few lines of C driver code needed to be changed, since the
capability was there already. The rest is config and documentation.

A helper script to configure Linux routing and iptables NAT is also

Add Quectel EC20 4G LTE Module USB CDC/ACM support
This function fails to compile due to numerous undeclared register definitions used in cxd56_audio_bca_reg.c. This commit replaces the undefined definitions with very similar definitions recommended by GCC (differing only in some spelling).
However, I cannot be certain that this is correct. This must be reviewed, corrected, and verified by Alin Jerpelea. Please do not merge until Alin approves.

When the remaining capacity of flash is one sector, if a new root
directory is created by file open, then the root directory's chain is
broken and it causes to SmartFS filesystem crash. Once this fatal
problem occurs, it's impossible to recover even if the system reboot.

1. The count semaphore need disable priority inheritance

This change was motivated by the presence of the mkimage.sh file under tools. That is the tool that created the RRLOAD binary format. That bash script has a GPL license and, hence, may not be included in an Apache-licensed project.
boards/arm/stm32h7/stm32h747i-disco: Remove references to nucleo in the stm32h747i-disco board.
arch/arm/include/stm32h7, arch/arm/src/stm32h7, and boards/arm/stm32h7/stm32h747i-disco: Add support for the STM32H747I-DISCO board.
(1) unifies the iomux definitions - previously some pins had them, and some didn't. This effectively made it impossible to use the pinmuxes without editing the header file in the standard distribution tree.
(2) unifies the pin definitions so that every pin now has a suffix. This makes it *much* easier to see when a pin is in use in your code, because it will always have a definition in your board.h file.
For anyone who is already using this CPU, a couple of small changes are needed to existing code;
In respect of (1) add IOMUX decorators to your pin definitions. You will find defaults in haardware/imxrt_iomux.h. Every pin should have a IOMUX decorator and in general the defaults should be OK. So while previously in your board.h file you might have had;
You will now have;
In respect of (2) you will need to add selectors for any function that previously only had one pinning option. There aren't many of those but LPUART1 is a good example. That just means adding into your board.h something like;

LNA is always turned power on when GNSS is started. So it is desirable
that the initial value of the LNA power is off by default.
* boards: cxd56xx: Remove initial setting of PIN_AP_CLK
PIN_AP_CLK is used as a port selector of SDIO expander on the extension
board, and is set output low in initalizing. Therefore, this pin cannot
be used for other board. To avoid this restriction, remove this initial
operation because this pin is pulled down by default on the extension
board.
