Make.defs drivers/serial/tcdrain: tcdrain() was recently added to the NuttX C library. But there is a problem. The specification of tcdrain() requires that it be a cancellation point. In order to do this, tcdrain was moved from the C library into the OS and the addition cancellation point hooks were added. serial.c drivers/serial: Add a timeout to uart_tcdrain(). Even if tcflush() is used to discard buffered data, the close() can still hang if (a) hardware flow control is enabled, (b) CTS == 1, and (c) there is data stuck in the hardware Tx FIFO. tcflush() does not currently clear the MCU serial drivers' hardware Tx FIFOs.
