2d4ce4e047 graphics/nxterm and configs/open1788: Various fixes to get the NxTerm example working in PROTECTED mode with the Open1788 knxterm configuration. Basically works until the screen becomes full and it starts scrolling. Then characters are missing from the display. Needs more debug and test. 2019-03-07 15:57:34 -06:00

7696731f19 configs/open1788/knxterm: Add a configuration to test NxTerms in the PROTECTED mode. This configuration does not yet link correctly because a few NxTerms interfaces are improperly exported from the OS: nxterm_redraw() and nxterm_kbdin(). a76e137ce2 Squashed commit of the following: 
sched/init/nx_start.c:  Add support for CONFIG_BOARD_DRIVER_INITIALIZE.  If this option is selected then nx_start() will call a board-provided function board_driver_initialize() immediately after calling up_initialize().

    Rename CONFIG_BOARD_INITIALIZE to CONFIG_BOARD_LATE_INITIALIZE.

    Raname board_initialize() to board_late_initialize()

50ca32e254 Squashed commit of the following: 
sched/:  Convert legitimate uses of task_create() to nxtask_create().  Review handling of returned values from all uses of kthread_create() (as well as nxtask_create()).
    graphics/:  Review return values for all calls to kthread_start() because it no longer returns an errno.
    drivers/:  threads started by drivers should be kernel threads, not user tasks.  Review return values for all calls to kthread_start() because it no longer returns an errno.
    configs/:  threads started by board bringup logic should be kernel threads, not user tasksi (part 2 of 2).
    sched/task:  Add nxtask_create().  Kthread_create() and nxtask_create() are internal OS functions and should not modify the errno variable.  configs/:  threads started by board bringup logic should be kernel threads, not user tasks.

301bf1ee77 This commit eliminates the BOARDIOC_TSCTEST_SETUP command. 
Squashed commit of the following:

    configs:  Each board now initializes the touchscreen controller as a normal part of its board bring-up.  board_tsc_setup() is gone; the touchscreen controller is now treated like any other on-board device.
    Remove all support for BOARDIOC_TSCTEST_SETUP
    Move prototype for board_tsc_setup() from include/nuttx/board.h to individual board header files.

63415f9fb1 arch/arm/src/lpc54xx: Clone the LPC1788 LCD driver. The LPC54628 LCD interface is identical. The initial commit is a brute force clone. It still needs review to make sure the LDC is appropriately enabled in the SYSCON and that clocking is provided. Also, extend the SPI 'skeleton' file so that has a place to support for SPI DMA and the SPI exchange method. 2017-12-12 10:13:21 -06:00

drivers/video:     fb driver now clears framebuffer initially.  Eliminates (or minimizes) initial garbage on the display.
