8bd9cfe038 Squashed commit of the following: 
arch/arm:  Remove support for CONFIG_ARMV7M_CMNVECTOR.  It is now the only vector support available.  Also remove CONFIG_HAVE_CMNVECTOR.  That no longer signifies anything."
    arch/arm/src/stm32:  This commit removes support for the dedicated vector handling from the STM32 architecture support. Only common vectors are now supported.

20d9d1a604 configs/: Disable debug options in all default configurations. The idea is that these are all release configurations and should present the best performance and smallest footprint. If debug output is desired for debugging purposes, then these release configurations can simply be changes to debug configurations be simply re-enabling the debug options. 2018-06-17 11:13:24 -06:00

668df010ec Committed defconfigs for working configurations should never have CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL set because the opens the doors for untested and incomplete configurations. Conversely, if there are released configurations that use features with dependencies on CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL, then those configurations are in use and those dependencies should be removed: 
graphics/vnc/server/Kconfig:  Remove a dependency on CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL
net/tcp/Kconfig:  Remove a dependency on CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL

9a1277bd8f Makefile.unix: There is a sort command in the 'make savedefconfig' file. I found that sort behaves differently on different platforms based on the environment variable LC_ALL. Now, Makefile.unix will force LC_ALL=C just for the sort command so that we can all generate equivalent defconfig files. 2018-04-29 09:47:09 -06:00

505f460b6b configs: Review all implementations of board_lcd_initialize(). The NuttX convention is that all internal functions that return errors as an 'int' must return a negated errno value on failure and a non-negative value on success. Most were right but eight of them had cloned logic that returns 1 on success and zero on failure... both of which are interpreted as success by the caller since they are non-negative. 2018-04-21 18:03:01 -06:00

fa287e8863 Various fixes/changes from intial testing of the HCI UART on the STM32F4-Discovery board. Re-organized how the Blutetooth network driver is initialized. Added lots of new debug output. d25549ac54 This commit adds a Bluetooth HCI UART lower half driver for the STM32 
Squashed commit of the following:

    arch/arm/src/stm32:  Add Kconfig options needed by the HCI UART.  Various fixes to finally get a clean error free compile with no unexpected warnings.
    arch/arm/src/stm32:  In HCI UART, use spin_lock_irqsave() instead of enter_critical_section() whenever possible.
    arch/arm/src/stm32:  In HCI UART, fix up naming of configurations so that they are unique.  Still needs Kconfig settings.  Modify logic so that there can be multiple HCI UARTs, some supporting DMA and some not.
    arch/arm/src/stm32:  Integrate watermarks and software Rx flow control into the HCI UART driver.
    arch/arm/src/stm32:  Eliminate some HCI UART UART configuration options.  Per the HCI UART spec, the link will b 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit... Always.
    arch/arm/src/stm32:  Trivial cleanup
    arch/arm/src/stm32:  Fixes most initial compilation issues STM32 HCI UART driver.  Still need to set up USART configuration parmeters for HCI UART
    arch/arm/src/stm32:  Completes first cut at STM32 HCI UART driver.
    arch/arm/src/stm32:  Completes most of read logic for HCI UART.  Still needs to be able to block if no read data is available.  Still missing write and flush logic.

8b4b61f140 fs/cromfs: Fix a error in reading partial compressed blocks. The LZF decompressor does not support that operation. Instead we have to decompress full block into a temporary buffer and copy out the parts that we need. To compensate for the performance hit, a caching mechanism was added so that we do not have to read the same block repeatedly. Unrelated: Also updates some README files. 2018-03-24 11:30:35 -06:00

3810f9e942 Remove configurations using canutils/libuavcan and examples/uavcan. libuavcan has not built for a year or so. The basic problem is that as NuttX advances, the old frozen versino of libuavcan has become absolute because it violates the portable POSIX OS interface. sched/:  Convert legitimate uses of task_create() to nxtask_create().  Review handling of returned values from all uses of kthread_create() (as well as nxtask_create()).
    graphics/:  Review return values for all calls to kthread_start() because it no longer returns an errno.
    drivers/:  threads started by drivers should be kernel threads, not user tasks.  Review return values for all calls to kthread_start() because it no longer returns an errno.
    configs/:  threads started by board bringup logic should be kernel threads, not user tasksi (part 2 of 2).
