6695affe87 risc-v: Add a new option to control exception reason
The number of exception for risc-v is 16 (0 ~ 15)
for the machine ISA version 1.12 or earlier, the number of exception is 20
(0 ~ 19) from the ISA version 1.13. And maybe changed in the future.

Using a dedicated option to control the exception number to allow the earlier
version chip with customized exception number (e.g. 16 ~ 19 used) to define
the exception reason string correctly.

29ee9aacb3 arch/risc-v/common: provide architecture specific perfmon bindings.
Provides two implementations:
 - CSR_CYCLE: Cores which implement hardware performance monitoring.
 - CSR_TIME: Uses the machine time registers.

Using the up_perf_xx bindings directory is more efficient than performing a nanosecond conversion on every gettime event.

4c35bde3ba risc-v/bl808: Configure MMU to cache User Text, Data and Heap
This PR configures the BL808 MMU to cache the the User Text, Data and Heap. We enable the T-Head MMU Flags for Shareable, Bufferable and Cacheable, as explained in the previous PR: https://github.com/apache/nuttx/pull/13199

This PR fixes the Slow Memory Access for NuttX Apps on Ox64 BL808 SBC: https://github.com/apache/nuttx/issues/12696. With this fix, Ox64 NuttX CoreMark jumps from 19 to 1,104. (Close to Buildroot Linux CoreMark)

b14dc8f8ae risc-v/mmu: Configure T-Head MMU to cache User Text, Data and Heap
This PR configures the T-Head MMU to cache the the User Text, Data and Heap. We enable the MMU Flags for Shareable, Bufferable and Cacheable, as explained in this article: https://lupyuen.github.io/articles/plic3#appendix-mmu-caching-for-t-head-c906

This PR fixes the Slow Memory Access for NuttX Apps on BL808 and SG2000 SoCs: https://github.com/apache/nuttx/issues/12696. With this fix, SG2000 NuttX CoreMark jumps from 21 to 2,423. (Close to SG2000 Debian CoreMark)

We introduce a Kconfig Option: `ARCH_MMU_EXT_THEAD` ("System Type > Enable T-Head MMU extension support"). Enabling this Kconfig Option will configure the T-Head MMU to cache the User Text, Data and Heap.

This PR enables the MMU cache for only SG2000 SoC (Milk-V Duo S SBC). The next PR will apply the same settings to BL808 SoC (Pine64 Ox64 SBC).

Modified Files:

`arch/risc-v/Kconfig`: Added Kconfig Option `ARCH_MMU_EXT_THEAD` that will configure the T-Head MMU. Enabled `ARCH_MMU_EXT_THEAD` for SG2000 SoC.

`arch/risc-v/src/common/riscv_exception.c`: Extended the MMU Flags from 32 bits to 64 bit, to accommodate the T-Head MMU Flags. This code is enabled only for MMU Paging (`CONFIG_PAGING`).

47b0414eab arch/riscv: add cluster local hartid
Some multicore RV chips (mpfs, jh7110 etc) have hart clusters
and globally numbered mhartids. Clusters with single hart or
SMP support can be managed by one NuttX instance. Currently
NuttX expects to use cluster-local ids.

This allows us to get local ids by offsetting mhartids with a
base value.

Note that there are chips (e.g. k230) that use cluster-local
ids directly, so this is not needed for them.

918ad10859 riscv/qemu: add NuttSBI support
This adds NuttSBI support for rv-virt device so that to enable CI
checks for NuttSBI later. It allows using `-bios nuttx` option to
run NuttX with QEMU v6.2 w/o OpenSBI.

8e30c13441 arch/risc-v: Add support for SOPHGO SG2000 SoC (T-Head C906)
This PR adds support for the SOPHGO SG2000 SoC, based on T-Head C906 64-bit RISC-V Core. This will be used by the upcoming port of NuttX for Milk-V Duo S SBC.

e37348aeba arch/risc-v: Add support for S-mode flat build
There is no need to use kernel build for S-mode all the time. As cpu
scratch is supported for non kernel mode build, it is possible to use
flat build for S-mode.

a51ebeab4b arch/risc-v: decouple Per-CPU scratch with ARCH_USE_S_MODE
In some special chipsets, multiple CPUs may be bundled in one hardware
thread cluster, which results in hartid and cpuindex not being exactly
the same. The new option will decouple Scratch-based Per-CPU storage
with S-Mode to distinguish the real cpu index.

d59f9186ca arch/risc-v: add llvm experimental extensions into command line
LLVM supports (to various degrees) a number of experimental extensions.
All experimental extensions have experimental- as a prefix. There is
explicitly no compatibility promised between versions of the toolchain,
and regular users are strongly advised not to make use of experimental
extensions before they reach ratification.

Fix compile error:
riscv64-unknown-elf-clang: error: invalid arch name 'rv64gcv_zfh_zvfh', requires '-menable-experimental-extensions' for experimental extension 'zvfh'

401b3e682c arch/risc-v/litex: Allow FDT to be passed from previous boot change.
Allows a flattened device tree to be passed from either openSBI or the LiteX bios. The FDT is registered can be used, if supported.

K230 chip has two T-Head C908 RiscV cores, previously we run NuttX
on either little or big cores. This patch runs NuttX on both cores
with OpenAMP support via the RPTUN driver.

da365c1cb0 risc-v/canmv230: enable fully linked apps for kernel build
Previously apps in kernel build are partially linked, thus are
big and inefficient. This enables full link for kernel mode apps
to reduce size and speed up loading.

75d0c2946d risc-v: Initial support for CanMV-k230 board and K230 chip
The code is mainly derived from the NuttX qemu-rv/rv-virt codebase.

Major changes:

- boards/Kconfig:       add new BOARD_K230_CANMV
- arch/risc-v/Kconfig:  add new CHIP_K230 chip and ARCH_RV_MMIO_BITS
- arch/risc-v/src/common/riscv_mtimer.c: use ARCH_RV_MMIO_BITS to
                        select MMIO access width

New additions:

- arch/risc-v/include/k230/: k230 SoC definitions
- arch/risc-v/src/k230/:     k230 SoC sources
- boards/risc-v/k230/canmv230/:  CanMV-K230 board sources and configs
- Documentation/platforms/risc-v/k230/: simple doc

Note that only FLAT build works for canmv230 now.

This PR has changes in RiscV common layer thus may affect other RiscV ports
It changes the mtime/mtimecmp access control from using config ARCH_RV64 to
newly intorduced config ARCH_RV_MMIO_BITS.

Original design uses ARCH_RV64 to select 64bit MMIO in riscv_mtimer.c, this
can't cope with the situation with K230 --- it has ARCH_RV64 but only can do
32bit MMIO. So a new ARCH_RV_MMIO_BITS config has been introduced. Its value
depicts the MMIO width in bits. The MMIO_BITS defaults to 32/64 for RV32/
RV64 respectively. This allows the macro to replace current use of ARCH_RV64
in riscv_mtimer.c.

The new MMIO_BITS config is a derived one, and for RiscV chips with
equal CPU and MMIO widths there is no need to explicitly set it as the
default rule will do that. Only chips with different CPU and MMIO widths
need set it in Kconfig.

So by design this change should be safe but RiscV ports should be checked.

"ostest" verification has been done for:

- canmv230/nsh
- rv-vivt/nsh
- rv-virt/nsh64

configuration generation and manual check of derived RV_MMIO_BITS has been
done for:

- star64/nsh
- arty_a7/nsh
- bl602evb/nsh

8e6b448f47 arch/risc-v: Remove unnecessary PMP kconfig options
These options are just wrong and a result of misunderstanding of the
Polarfire SoC spec. There are no feature limitations in the CPU PMP
implementation -> remove any configuration options added.

34bfa2f7ba arch/risc-v/litex: Add platform specific tickless implementation.
Adds a platform specific implementation for tickless schedular operation. This includes:
 - Tickless operation for vexriscv cores.
 - Tickless operation for vexriscv-smp cores.
 - Ticked operation for vexriscv-smp cores.

Ticked operation for vexriscv core has been refactored.

Additional default configuration added to demonstrate operation.

Both tickless and ticked options use Litex timer0 for scheduling intervals. This is significantly faster than interfaceing with the risc-v mtimer through opensbi.

ee6e2ce149 arch/perf: add ARCH_HAVE_PERF_EVENTS to support hardware perf events
The implementation of up_perf_*() is in a different static library in nuttx:

Hardware: libarch.a
Software: libdrivers.a (weak function)

Since functions with weak attributes cannot be correctly replaced in multiple static libraries,

5b00c31396 boards/litex/arty_a7: Support building fully linked executables.
Changes the executable type built against the `make export` target fully linked by default. This greatly improves performance when loading applications, as relocations no longer need to be processed.

ae64f28344 RISC-V: Implement simple and native NuttX SBI
This is a minimalistic SBI implementation for NuttX.

Provides a single service for now:
- Access to machine timer

Provides a start trampoline to start NuttX in S-mode:
- Exceptions / faults are delegated to S-mode.
- External interrupts are delegated to S-mode.

Machine mode timer is used as follows:
- The timer compare match register reload happens in M-mode, via
  call gate "riscv_sbi_set_timer"
- The compare match event is dispatched to S-mode ISR, which will
  notify the kernel to advance time
- Clearing the STIP interrupt does not work from S-mode,
  so the call gate does this from M-mode

The only supported (tested) target for now is MPFS.
